Hectors Dolphin Kenning

 Today I have been learning about Kennings, they are a type of poetry. I wrote this kenning about my favourite animal Hectors Dolphin, sometimes we go to Akaroa and we see them jumping in the water and it is very cool as there are not many left in the world so it is good Akaroa has a sanctuary and is doing a lot to save these dolphins.  What is your favourite animal?  @https://summerlearningjourney.blogspot.com/2021/12/

Today I tried out some Magic Number tricks. This is where you take a number and add to it, multiply it, divide by it and the number is always 3 or 5 or 10 or your original number. This week as part of the Summer Learning Journey I have been learning how to ask how many things are there in Te Reo. For Example - To ask how many objects you say E hia nga meha and if there are say 2 things you reply e rua nga meha  I created a poster to help me with my learning to show 1-10 objects and to also share with my whanau to help them with their te reo.
